Ground Squirrel Hibernation: Do Ground Squirrels Hibernate

In America, there are numerous species of ground squirrels, including various species of marmots and chipmunks. The Washington ground squirrel is found in Washington and Oregon, while Rock squirrels are in the southwest United States. Other examples include the following:

Townsend’s ground squirrels live in high desert areas.
Round-tailed ground squirrels live in Southwest desert areas.
Spotted ground squirrels live in the central and southwest parts of America.
Thirteen-lined ground squirrels live in prairies in the central region of the U.S.
Richardson’s ground squirrels are in North Dakota, Montana, and other northern regions.
Paiute ground squirrels live in Utah, Nevada, and the Pacific Northwest.
Mexican ground squirrels live in New Mexico and Texas.
Mohave ground squirrels thrive in the Mohave desert.

Ground squirrels exist in these and many other areas, making them one of the most prevalent wildlife. As their population grows, so will the nuisance behaviors and damages to your home and property.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I will give Michael McGinty 5 stars as he was courteous and thorough. He was also quick to respond and come to assess situation. He checked problem area as well as checking the attic... We knew where squirrels entering but also going to fortify a couple obvious weak points (that I was already expecting to be addressed). I am very satisfied with the timeline to have everything completed! I will revisit and adjust rating after the job is complete depending on outcome (up or down)... I have seen many very positive reviews and photos as well as a few photos and poor reviews of shoddy work. I am hoping for a excellent resolution and Michael was very reassuring. Fingers crossed. A little expensive but had trouble with other companies and I want done now and their work comes with warranty!!!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Tracy at Critter Control is a F A N T A S T I C tech! For the past two years we’ve used Critter Control to trap and spray for raccoons that get too familiar. Tracy always arrives on time when scheduled and was an ace relocating two raccoons (so far🤞🏽) with care.
